The US has at least 42,000 new coronavirus cases in only 24 hours.

The reports from the Johns Hopkins University about the US situation are alarming.

There are 42,812 new COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours, elevating the total number in the country to 7,233,042.

Also, 946 Americans have lost their lives on Wednesday due to coronavirus complications.

The total number of fatalities up to date is 207,000, and the number is constantly rising.

The total rates are a summary of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and other US territories.

The country is testing a large number of people, depending on the state.

Some states reserve the diagnostic and serology tests only for the hospitals and their patients, while other states have available drive-through testing sites throughout the communities where everyone can approach and get tested.
