South Carolina Reports Increase in COVID-19 Cases

South Carolina is one of the states that we don’t hear a lot about since the beginning of the pandemic.

However, it seems that COVID-19 is not planning on quitting, so today we have an increase in new infections in SC.

According to the South Carolina Department of Health, the percentage of coronavirus cases is now 15.6%.

On Sunday, 25 people lost their lives due to COVID-19, while 1,170 people are reported as newly infected.

The total number of confirmed cases in South Carolina is 80,856, with 1,436 total deaths up to date.

According to governmental officials, the state has conducted 700,464 diagnostic tests so far.

The number of hospital bed occupancy and hospitalizations on Sunday were not released.
