Orange County Ramped Up Coronavirus Test Numbers by Adding Serology Tests by Error

A tremendous false coronavirus test drama is overwhelming California citizens in the last couple of days.

Everything would be fine if Orange County’s official numbers weren’t inflated by mistakingly adding over 30,000 antibody test results into the COVID-19 detection test numbers.

It seems like this over-a-month long mistake compromised the coronavirus figures of the county and created a better picture of the pandemic than it actually is.

The reports of this error show that there are more diagnostic tests conducted among the population, which turned out to be a lie.

Dr. Clayton Chau, director of the Orange County Health Care Agency said “I would like to sincerely apologize for any confusion this matter has caused for the community. In the future, we will be more transparent with respect to the data that informs policy and personal health decisions of our residents.”

However, the damage is already done, and apologies can’t save lives. Reporting the results of serology and diagnostic tests together is an enormous error that will cause the county a new lockdown and business closures, including bars, pubs, and breweries.

Orange County notices a spike in new coronavirus cases, and new deaths as well, reaching 17,056 infected people.

The negative consequences of the inaccurate testing data will also be visible in the California economy, not only the health of its citizens.
