Israel Sets a New Record in Daily Coronavirus Cases

Israel sets a new record in coronavirus cases. On Thursday, the Ministry of Health reported 7,755 new infections, which is the highest daily rate in the country since the beginning of the pandemic.

The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, is implementing new restrictions starting at 2 p.m. on Friday.

However, it seems like the spike in new cases happened before they are closing the country, and they failed to avoid the damage.

The 7,755 who tested positive to COVID-19 on Thursday probably already spread the virus among double as many people.

The new increase in coronavirus cases is expected in the upcoming day and weeks.

The Prime Minister is refusing to take any responsibility for the COVID-19 crisis in his country. Instead, he blames the people and populist politicians who didn’t respect the protective measures in the first place.

He said, “The health system is groaning. The number of severe cases is taking off. Against these things, I see people dancing, gathering and having meals at long, crowded tables, without masks. There is a limit. Wake up. Enough is enough. We are in a different reality. Something needs to be done and it must be done now.”
