India’s Coronavirus Cases are on the Rise for Third Consecutive Day

India’s hitting a new milestone in new coronavirus daily cases, reporting a third consecutive day of increasing numbers.

The South Asian country’s ministry of health is reporting tremendous data on new cases, reaching 27,114 new Covid-19 cases on Friday.

This number is adding up to the total infected rate, which is now over 800,000 coronavirus cases. The nationwide total as of Friday night is 820,916.

COVID-19 pandemic in India is continuing to spread, and it seems that the strict measures and rules are not working well as they were at the beginning of this devastating virus.

However, the country is still reimposing protective measures in the hope of changing the virus’ spreading speed.

Friday was the third day in a row of skyrocketing new infections, and experts can’t tell if the rise is going to continue today and in the following days.

Uttar Pradesh is the most populous state in India and the hotspot of the virus.

For this reason, the authorities decided to implement new restrictions for the weekend, leaving only necessary services open.

All businesses that are not essential for human health and survival, are staying closed over the weekend.

Looking on the brighter side, over 515,000 people have recovered from COVID-19 in India to date, which gives people hope.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research, the country has conducted 11,3 million coronavirus detection tests since the first reported cases in India.
