We see him in the news more often than the president of the U.S., and the entire nation is expected to follow his expert advice.

However, Fauci has been struggling for a while to convince the U.S. people to wear masks and maintain social distancing, but not everybody respects these measures.

Last night, he said it’s hard to predict whether COVID-19 is at its peak, or further surges can be expected.

“It’s impossible to predict because when we were looking at the increase and then going down, if it had gone all the way down to baseline… then you could say ‘if we hold tight, we may be in the 7th or 8th inning, but that didn’t happen.”

The only way to stop the pandemic is by wearing a mask, and practice social distancing all the time.

It seems like medical experts are tired of repeating the same things over and over again, while people avoid listening.
